    Take lots of pictures.

I thought you were going to take the BACK roads! 394/35W are not back roads. You both could have been squashed.

Anyway, it must have felt great finally getting to the B&B after 334 miles. The glass of wine looked mighty good and well deserved!

Sounds like you guys are having a great time despite the wind and semis.

Hope the weather’s kind to you! I’m going to start building an ark over here.
Lol, don’t forget the British GP this weekend!

Jay, yes we are having a great time, wind or not. The bike is great by the way, and I definately reccomend one if that is what you are thinking of getting. As you are a lot taller than me it would be more suitable for you than me, as the sob is very tall!

Chris, went to the falls today but it was persistently raining! Will get post cards to send though. I did watch some of the French GP as you know. Not sure if we will have TV on Sunday though, maybe you can text me the results.

Great pictures and video! This blog was a very kool idea. I was going to mention something about dressing warm as it has always been cold and damp when I’ve been in that neck of the woods.

By the way, Shannon, Kimberly had a 7 lb. 9 ox. baby girl on July 4th. Everything went well and all are happy and healthy.

I bet you’re going to be mighty happy to get off those bikes for awhile once this trip is over. My butt hurts just reading about this trip and I’m sitting in a nice, soft chair!

Wow! Your trip sounds amazing and your descriptions make for wonderful reading. I on the other hand am sitting at my dad’s computer covered with sheetrock dust with nothing more interesting to say then ,”What’s for dinner”!

I like how you spelled cool, Jim, very kool.

I saw the photos of Kimberly; she looks so happy.

I am mighty happy. My back side is formed to my seat; I’ll have to arrange for BMW to make me some pants to fit the seat design.

    Hey Jay,

Lol has lots of good advice for you about your potential V-strom purchase. Look for an e-mail soon!

P.S. Convince Russ to post his videos on YouTube too. He could set up a blog, and then post his videos through it; we could all comment on his blog. Work on him!

Hetty, being covered in sheet rock dust is some people’s idea of a vacation, you should quit thinking of your stomach and realise how lucky you are to be hanging sheet rock! Will you stick around to do the sanding?

Just kidding, hope you are enjoying visiting your parents and not thinking of work–at all!

    Howdy Folks

I got a chance to read your blog today to see the latest on the chain drama and was pleasently surprised to hear that some of my fellow Canadians in Sudbury got your chain on and you guys safely down the road. Glad to have had you stay with us and share in your journey.

  • 2Moto // July 9, 2007 at 8:45 pm

    Hi Pete,

Thanks so much for helping us. Those guys were a lot of fun, and helped us greatly. I also posted photos of your wife’s garden, on the garden posting on the main page. I never got a chance to meet her, but I envy her garden; please tell her.

    Thanks,
    Shannon

    Hi Laurence and Shannon,

It was very nice meeting the two of you at the Vanilla Bean in Two Harbors on Sunday! Looks like you had a wonderful time, sans the chain incident … I love the blog …
Drop me a line sometime, I’d like to hear of your adventures!

Well, you guys are tough – I’ll say that! It looks like it was a wonderful adventure though and I envy you that. Shannon, you’re a very skilled writer. I enjoyed the reading very much.

From what I can tell you got some good camera shots. That’s always a plus for me when I go anywhere. Maybe you should do a slideshow party in your spare time!

Back to work for me, argh! See you in the hallways.

    Jo
